I am currently a researcher at the ‘Rui Nabeiro’ Biodiversity Chair in University of Évora. Ecological modelling studies are big resources consumers so I’m interested in developing systems to work with large quantities of data. One of my main tasks is to implement a distributed computation system, which allows modelling the effects of the clima change into species distribution. I’ll also will teach some courses and give technical support to others researchers. Academically I have a degree in Environment and two masters in Geographical Information Technologies.
Areas of interest: Ecology, Environmental modelling, conservation, distributed computing, etc.
